Definition of Judaism as it relates to Religions, Monotheism, Prophets
Judaism is a monotheistic religion centered on the belief in one God who is the national god of the Jewish people. It is rooted in the covenant between God and Abraham, and is revealed through prophets such as Moses. The Torah, which contains the laws and teachings of Judaism, is considered to be the word of God as given to Moses. Judaism emphasizes ethical behavior, obedience to God's commandments, and the study of sacred texts.
