Judaism

Definition of Judaism as it relates to Religions, Agnosticism, Monotheism

Judaism is a monotheistic religion centered on the belief in one God, Yahweh, who entered into a covenantal relationship with the people of Israel. It has its own unique set of beliefs, practices, and traditions that distinguish it from other religions within the same parent category of Monotheism. Judaism emphasizes ethical behavior, study of religious texts (such as the Torah), observance of holy days, and the development of a personal relationship with God. It has had a profound influence on Western culture and civilization, and its followers continue to make significant contributions to various fields, including art, science, literature, and philosophy. Judaism is not just a religion, but also a way of life that encompasses every aspect of an individual's existence.
