Judaism
Judaism is a monotheistic religion centered on the belief in one God who is the national god of the Israelites and the creator of the universe. It has its own set of religious texts, traditions, and laws, known as Halakha. Its followers, called Jews, believe that they are descendants of the ancient Israelites and that God established a special covenant with them. In the hierarchy "Religions/Agnosticism/Christianity/Judaism", Judaism is related to Christianity as both are monotheistic religions that originated in the Middle East, but they differ significantly in their beliefs and practices. While Christianity believes in Jesus as the Messiah and the Son of God, Judaism rejects this belief and instead emphasizes the importance of following God's commandments and living a righteous life. Judaism is also distinct from Agnosticism, which is the view that the existence of God, of the divine or the supernatural is unknown or unknowable.
