Instructional Design
Instructional Design refers to the systematic process of creating, selecting, organizing, and evaluating educational materials, activities, and experiences in order to promote learning and improve performance. It involves the application of learning theory, instructional strategies, and technology to create effective and engaging educational environments. Instructional designers work in a variety of settings, including K-12 education, higher education, corporate training, and continuing professional education, and may be responsible for designing courses, developing multimedia materials, creating assessments, and conducting research on the effectiveness of instructional interventions. The goal of instructional design is to ensure that learners acquire the knowledge and skills they need in a way that is efficient, engaging, and relevant to their goals and needs.
