Instructional Design
Instructional Design refers to the systematic process of creating, selecting, organizing, and evaluating educational materials, activities, information resources, and evaluation tools to enhance learner achievement. It is an interdisciplinary field that combines principles from education, academic degrees, educational technology, and other related areas. The goal of instructional design is to ensure that learning experiences are engaging, relevant, and effective in helping learners achieve their desired outcomes. Instructional designers may work in various settings, including K-12 schools, higher education institutions, corporations, government agencies, and non-profit organizations. They collaborate with subject matter experts, educators, and other stakeholders to design, develop, implement, and assess instructional materials and strategies that meet learners' needs and promote their success.
