Instructional Design
Instructional Design refers to the systematic and reflective process of translating principles of learning and instruction into plans for instructional materials, activities, information resources, and evaluation. It encompasses the analysis of learning needs, goals, and contexts; the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of instruction; and management of projects. The focus is on creating meaningful and engaging learning experiences that foster the development of knowledge and skills, promote learner autonomy and self-directed learning, and accommodate diverse learning styles and preferences. Instructional Design draws from various disciplines such as education, cognitive psychology, computer science, and communication studies to inform its practices and theories.
