Sikhism

Definition of Sikhism as it relates to Religions, Pantheism, Jehovahs Witnesses Theology

Sikhism is a monotheistic religion founded in the Punjab region of India during the late 15th century. It emphasizes the belief in one universal God, known as Waheguru, and the teachings of its ten gurus, who are considered to be divine messengers. The religion places great importance on living a virtuous life, being compassionate towards all beings, and engaging in selfless service. Sikhism’s holy scripture, the Guru Granth Sahib, is considered the eternal guru and serves as a source of spiritual guidance for its followers. While distinct from Jehovah's Witnesses Theology, Pantheism, and other religions within the broader category of Religions, Sikhism shares some common themes with these belief systems, such as the emphasis on spiritual growth and the connection between the divine and the individual.
