Sikhism

Definition of Sikhism as it relates to Religions, Agnosticism, Judaism

Sikhism is a monotheistic religion founded in the Punjab region of India during the late 15th century. It emphasizes the belief in a single, formless God, and the teachings of its ten gurus are encapsulated in the scripture known as the Guru Granth Sahib. The faith promotes values such as equality, service to others, and spiritual growth through meditation and living a moral life. In relation to the hierarchy of Religions, Agnosticism, and Judaism, Sikhism is distinct from these other belief systems but shares commonalities in its commitment to spiritual exploration and ethical conduct. It offers unique perspectives on faith, God, and community that enrich the broader discourse on religion.
