Sikhism

Definition of Sikhism as it relates to Religions, Agnosticism, Shinto

Sikhism is a monotheistic religion founded in the Punjab region of India during the late 15th century. It emphasizes the belief in one universal God, the teachings of its ten gurus, and the living of an honest life. Sikhism promotes values such as equality, service to others, and social justice. Sikhism is distinct from Shinto, Agnosticism, and Religions in general, but it fits into the hierarchy of "Religions" as a unique spiritual path with its own beliefs, practices, and traditions. It complements the category of "Shinto" by offering an alternative perspective on divine power, worship, and community engagement. Sikhism's focus on individual spiritual growth, social harmony, and ethical living adds depth to the broader concept of Religion and provides a distinct contrast to Agnosticism's skepticism towards ultimate truth or reality.
