Buddhism

Definition of Buddhism as it relates to Religions, Pantheism, Jehovahs Witnesses Theology

"Buddhism" under "Jehovah's Witnesses Theology" in the hierarchy of "Religions" and "Pantheism" can be described as a spiritual tradition originating from the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama, also known as Buddha. It emphasizes the pursuit of enlightenment through meditation, ethical living, and understanding the nature of suffering. In contrast to Jehovah's Witnesses Theology, which holds a monotheistic belief in God and Jesus Christ, Buddhism is non-theistic and does not recognize a personal god or deity. However, both share common ground as religious practices that seek to foster moral values and a deeper understanding of existence. Buddhism's focus on personal spiritual development aligns with the broader category of "Religions" while its unique teachings about the nature of reality and consciousness set it apart from other religious traditions, including Pantheism which posits that the universe itself is divine. Despite these differences, Buddhism shares a commitment to exploring ultimate questions and seeking meaning in life with all the categories in this hierarchy.
