Buddhism

Definition of Buddhism as it relates to Religions, Agnosticism, Confucianism

Buddhism, as a spiritual tradition rooted in the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama, known as the Buddha, emphasizes the pursuit of enlightenment through meditation, ethical living, and understanding the nature of reality. It shares common ground with Confucianism, particularly in their mutual respect for moral values and spiritual development. Both traditions contribute to a broader understanding of Religions, which encompasses diverse systems of belief and practice. While Agnosticism questions the possibility of knowing whether there is a higher power or existence beyond the physical world, Buddhism offers an alternative perspective that explores the nature of self, suffering, and the path to liberation.
