Definition of Buddhism as it relates to Religions, Agnosticism, Pantheism
Buddhism emphasizes the pursuit of enlightenment through meditation and ethical living. It shares Pantheism's belief in the divine being present in all things, but diverges in its focus on the individual's path to understanding and nirvana. The teachings of Buddhism promote a Middle Way between the extremes of sensual indulgence and self-mortification, aligning with Agnosticism's questioning of absolute truths. As part of the Religions umbrella, Buddhism offers a unique perspective that complements and distinguishes itself from other belief systems within this hierarchy.
