Buddhism

Definition of Buddhism as it relates to Religions, Agnosticism, Islam

Buddhism under Islam in the hierarchy "Religions/Agnosticism/Islam/Buddhism" can be described as a spiritual tradition centered on the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama, who lived in the 5th century BCE in what is now Nepal and India. Buddhism emphasizes personal spiritual development and the attainment of a deep insight into the true nature of life. It includes various practices such as meditation, ethical living, and wisdom cultivation. While it is distinct from Islam, both religions share some common ground, including a belief in the existence of a higher power or reality and an emphasis on moral conduct and compassion for all beings. Buddhism's focus on personal enlightenment and inner peace complements the themes of spiritual growth and self-discovery present in Agnosticism and Religions more broadly.
