Buddhism

Definition of Buddhism as it relates to Religions, Agnosticism, Monotheism

"Buddhism" as a child category of "Monotheism", and related to "Religions" and "Agnosticism", can be described as a spiritual tradition originating in ancient India that emphasizes the path towards enlightenment through meditation, ethical conduct, and wisdom. It differs from monotheistic religions in its belief in multiple forms of existence beyond human life and the ultimate goal of achieving nirvana, a state of liberation from suffering and the cycle of rebirth. Buddhism also incorporates elements of agnosticism by not requiring faith in a higher power or deity, but rather encouraging individual exploration and understanding of its teachings. Overall, Buddhism provides a unique perspective on spirituality within the broader context of world religions.
