Definition of Special Education as it relates to Education, Home Economics Education, Rural Education

Special Education refers to an educational approach tailored to meet the unique learning needs and abilities of students with disabilities, impairments, or other exceptionalities. It encompasses a wide range of teaching strategies, techniques, and accommodations designed to address individual student's diverse learning styles and challenges. Special education aims to provide students with disabilities equal access to educational opportunities, enabling them to reach their full potential and prepare for independent living and employment.
