Christianity, as a faith within the broader category of Monotheism, focuses on the worship of Yahweh as revealed through the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It shares with its parent categories a belief in one all-powerful God who is the creator and sustainer of the universe. Christianity's unique contribution to this hierarchy lies in its emphasis on grace, faith, and love as central to religious experience and practice. Through teachings such as the Ten Commandments, the Sermon on the Mount, and the sacraments, Christians seek to live in accordance with God's will as revealed through Jesus Christ.
