Definition of Christianity as it relates to Religions, Monotheism, Bible, New Testament, Jesus Christ

Christianity is a branch of Monotheism, which emphasizes the belief in one God, and is centered around the life and teachings of Jesus Christ as presented in the New Testament of the Bible. It is the largest branch of Christianity, encompassing a diverse range of beliefs and practices, all of which recognize Jesus as the Son of God and the Messiah promised in the Old Testament. The core tenets of Christianity include the belief in the Holy Trinity (the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and the forgiveness of sins through faith in Him. Christians strive to follow the teachings of Jesus, as recorded in the New Testament, and seek to cultivate a personal relationship with God through prayer, worship, and service to others.
