Molecular Biology
Definition of Molecular Biology as it relates to Science, Biotechnology, Neuroscience
Molecular Biology is the branch of Neuroscience concerned with understanding the interactions between the biomolecules that make up the nervous system, including DNA, RNA, proteins, and lipids. It explores how these molecules function both individually and collectively to give rise to complex behaviors and cognitive processes. Research in Molecular Biology has wide-ranging implications for our understanding of neurological disorders, aging, and the development of novel therapeutic strategies. As such, it is a critical component of the broader fields of Science, Biotechnology, and Neuroscience.
