Monotheism
Monotheism under Rastafarianism emphasizes the belief in a single, all-powerful deity known as Jah. It is characterized by the worship of one God, who is seen as the source of all creation and life. In this context, Jah is understood to be a loving and compassionate God who is actively involved in the lives of his followers. This perspective on the divine stands in contrast to other Rastafarian beliefs, such as those found in Pantheism, which holds that God is present in every aspect of the natural world. Despite these differences, Monotheism in Rastafarianism remains committed to the broader goals of religious and spiritual growth, community building, and social justice.
