Islamic Ethics
Islamic Ethics refers to the moral principles and guidelines derived from the Quran, Hadith (sayings and actions of Prophet Muhammad), and Ijma (consensus of Muslim scholars) in Islam. It encompasses various aspects of human behavior, including personal character, social interactions, business dealings, and spiritual development. Islamic Ethics emphasizes values such as justice, compassion, honesty, humility, and respect for all creation. It also encourages the pursuit of knowledge, intellectual curiosity, and critical thinking as a means to understand and apply these moral principles in daily life. In contrast to Pantheism, which views God as indistinguishable from the universe, Islamic Ethics emphasizes the transcendence of God and the importance of obeying His commands and avoiding His prohibitions. It also differs from other religions in its unique blend of legal, moral, and spiritual dimensions, which provide a comprehensive framework for ethical decision-making and personal development.
