Secondary Education
Secondary Education refers to the stage of education following primary education and typically covering the teenage years. It is primarily an academic preparation for higher education, vocational training, or entry into the workforce. Secondary Education can include Technical Education and may be provided in a Technical College setting. This level of education focuses on building critical thinking skills, subject matter expertise, and career readiness through a structured curriculum that includes both core subjects and electives. It is characterized by a more specialized and in-depth study of academic subjects, as well as opportunities for experiential learning such as internships, apprenticeships, and community service. The goal of Secondary Education is to prepare students to be responsible citizens, lifelong learners, and productive members of society.
