Secondary Education refers to the period of education following primary education and generally encompasses grades 6-12, although this may vary depending on the country and school district. Secondary education typically culminates in the awarding of a high school diploma or equivalent, and may also include the opportunity to earn academic degrees, such as an Associate's or Master's degree, through advanced placement courses or dual enrollment programs.
