Secondary Education
Secondary Education refers to the stage of formal education that follows primary education and typically serves students aged 13-18. It includes various subjects such as English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Foreign Languages, Arts, Physical Education and vocational training. In some countries it is divided into two levels: lower secondary education (also known as middle school or junior high) and upper secondary education (also known as senior high). The main goal of secondary education is to prepare students for higher education, the workforce, or independent living by building on the foundations laid in primary education. It also aims to promote critical thinking, problem solving, and social skills, as well as cultural awareness, global citizenship, and lifelong learning.
