Secondary Education: The phase of education following primary schooling and leading up to higher education, typically encompassing grades 9-12 or ages 14-18 in the United States. Secondary education institutions, such as high schools, provide students with a more specialized and advanced curriculum compared to primary schools. This includes academic degrees and programs in various subject areas, including but not limited to Art Education. Secondary education aims to prepare students for college entrance exams, vocational training, or direct entry into the workforce by building upon foundational knowledge and skills acquired during primary schooling.
