Zoroastrianism
Zoroastrianism is an ancient Persian religion founded by the prophet Zoroaster in the 6th century BCE. It is centered around the belief in a dualistic cosmology of good and evil, represented by the god Ahura Mazda and the destructive spirit Angra Mainyu. Followers of Zoroastrianism practice rituals such as fire worship and believe in concepts such as judgment after death, the importance of moral conduct, and the ultimate triumph of good over evil. The religion has had a significant influence on the development of other faiths and philosophies throughout history.
