Deism

Definition of Deism as it relates to Religions, Monotheism, Heaven

Deism is the belief in the existence of a supreme being, specifically of a creator who does not intervene in the universe. The focus is on natural theology and reasoning, rather than religious doctrine or revelation. Adherents of Deism argue that the existence of a god can be deduced from observing the natural world, and that this god does not interfere with human life or the laws of the universe. In this hierarchy, Deism fits under Heaven as it is a belief in a higher power, but distinguishes itself through its emphasis on reason and non-interference. It also falls under Monotheism due to the belief in one supreme being, while still maintaining a unique perspective that sets it apart from other religions within this category.
