Protestantism
"Protestantism" refers to a major branch of Christianity that originated in the 16th century as a result of various religious reforms and dissenting movements against the Roman Catholic Church. It encompasses a wide range of denominations, such as Lutheranism, Calvinism, Anglicanism, and Baptists, among others, each with its own distinct beliefs and practices. While sharing common roots with other Christian traditions, Protestantism emphasizes the authority of the Bible, justification by faith alone, and the priesthood of all believers. As such, it represents a unique expression of religious belief and practice within the broader context of "Religions" and "Types of Religions," while also having its own distinct history and theological emphases that set it apart from "Deism."
