Protestantism

Definition of Protestantism as it relates to Religions, Atheism, Pantheism

"Protestantism" within the hierarchy of "Religions/Pantheism" refers to a branch of Christianity that originated in the 16th century as a response to perceived abuses and corruption within the Roman Catholic Church. It emphasizes the authority of the Bible, justification by faith, and the priesthood of all believers. While it may seem unrelated to "Atheism" or "Pantheism", Protestantism shares with them a focus on individual spirituality and interpretation of religious texts. In contrast to Pantheism's belief in a single divine force that permeates the universe, Protestantism posits a personal God who is separate from creation but active within it. This perspective diverges from Atheism's rejection of the existence of any deity or spiritual realm altogether.
