Physical Education
Physical Education: An area of study and practice focused on the development, enhancement, and maintenance of physical competence, health, and well-being through various movement forms and activities. It encompasses the teaching and learning of skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to promote lifelong participation in physical activity and healthy living. Physical Education can be pursued at different levels of education, including technical education and doctoral degree programs, and is often integrated with other disciplines such as anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, psychology, and sociology. It emphasizes the importance of movement experiences in promoting physical, mental, and emotional health, and encourages students to develop a positive attitude towards physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
