Confucianism
Confucianism is an ethical and philosophical system originally developed from the teachings of the Chinese philosopher Confucius. It emphasizes personal and governmental morality, correctness of social relationships, justice and sincerity. While it is often categorized as a religion due to its ritual practices, Confucianism is primarily a sociopolitical doctrine concerned with maintaining social harmony through the performance of rituals and the adherence to certain moral principles. It shares similarities with Taoism, another Chinese philosophical system, in its focus on ethics and morality, but differs in its emphasis on social order and hierarchy. As such, Confucianism can be seen as a unique faith that falls under the broader category of religions and shares connections with other belief systems like Taoism, all within the context of the larger category of Faiths.
