The Quran is the holy scripture of Islam, one of the Abrahamic religions. It is believed by Muslims to be the word of God as revealed to the Prophet Muhammad. The Quran consists of 114 chapters, or surahs, which are divided into verses. It covers a wide range of topics, including the nature of God, moral and ethical teachings, and guidance for daily life. The Quran is considered by Muslims to be the final revelation from God, following previous scriptures such as the Torah and the Bible. As the central text of Islam, it plays a fundamental role in the beliefs and practices of Muslims around the world.
