Allah

Definition of Allah as it relates to Religions, Monotheism

Allah refers to the supreme deity in Islam, considered the one and only God by its adherents. As such, Allah embodies the principles of monotheism, the belief in a single, all-powerful deity, which is also central to other religions like Judaism and Christianity. In Islamic tradition, Allah is described as merciful, compassionate, and just, and is believed to have communicated with humanity through prophets such as Abraham, Moses, and Jesus, culminating in the revelation of the Quran to the Prophet Muhammad. The concept of Allah transcends cultural and linguistic boundaries, encompassing a complex web of beliefs, practices, and interpretations that continue to evolve and inspire Muslims around the world.
