Theism
Theism, as it relates to the hierarchy of "Religions/Agnosticism/Islam," refers to the belief in a single, supreme deity who is actively involved in the universe and the lives of its inhabitants. In this context, theism within Islam posits that Allah is the one true god, responsible for creation and guiding humanity through revealed scripture and the actions of the Prophet Muhammad. Theistic principles in Islam emphasize monotheism (tawhid), divine justice, and the importance of submission to Allah's will as expressed through Islamic practices and rituals. This perspective sets it apart from agnosticism, which questions or remains uncertain about the existence of a higher power, and other religions that may embrace different concepts of deity or multiple gods. By focusing on the nature of God, human relationship with the divine, and the ultimate purpose of creation, theism within Islam offers an in-depth exploration of these themes as they pertain to this specific religious context.
