Definition of Neuroscience as it relates to Science, Physical Science, Environmental Science

Neuroscience, as part of Environmental Science, focuses on the study of the nervous system and its impact on the environment. It explores the structure, function, evolution, development, genetics, biochemistry, pharmacology, and pathology of the nervous system, with a particular emphasis on understanding how it interacts with and adapts to environmental factors. Research in this area may involve investigating the effects of pollution, climate change, and other environmental stressors on neural function and behavior, as well as examining the role of the nervous system in mediating organisms' responses to their surroundings.
