Learning Disabilities: A category encompassing a range of neurological disorders characterized by difficulties with basic psychological processes involved in understanding or using spoken or written language, and/or mathematical reasoning. These disabilities can manifest in various forms, including dyslexia (difficulty reading), dyscalculia (difficulty with math), dysgraphia (difficulty writing), auditory processing disorder (difficulty interpreting sounds), and visual processing disorder (difficulty interpreting visual information). Individuals with learning disabilities often require specialized educational support, accommodations, and interventions to achieve their full academic potential. This may include modifications in teaching methods, instructional materials, technology, and/or assessment procedures. Learning disabilities can affect individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, including those pursuing education in religious or vocational contexts. Early identification and intervention are key to mitigating the impact of learning disabilities on academic performance and overall well-being.
