Project Management encompasses the application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities in order to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations from conception to completion. It involves aligning projects with organizational strategy, managing resources effectively, controlling costs, mitigating risks, ensuring quality, and facilitating effective communication among all parties involved. Project Management requires a deep understanding of Business principles such as financial management, marketing, and strategic planning; Organizational Behavior concepts such as leadership, motivation, and team dynamics; Economic theories such as supply and demand, market structures, and cost-benefit analysis; and project-specific knowledge areas such as scheduling, scope management, and stakeholder engagement. Ultimately, Project Management is about delivering value to the organization by successfully executing projects that achieve their intended objectives.
