Spiders, as part of the Subclass Acari and the larger grouping of Arachnids within the Animal kingdom, are distinctive creatures characterized by their eight legs and the presence of silk-producing glands. They belong to a separate order from Pseudoscorpions within Subclass Acari. Spiders use their silk for various purposes such as creating webs to catch prey, constructing egg sacs, and using it as a lifeline when they move around. Their bodies are divided into two main parts: the cephalothorax (which includes the head and thorax) and the abdomen. Spiders also possess fangs that they use to inject venom into their prey. They can be found in nearly every habitat on Earth, ranging from forests and grasslands to deserts and even in homes as indoor pests. Spider diversity is vast, with over 45,000 known species worldwide.
