Astronomy is the scientific study of celestial objects and phenomena. It explores everything from the properties of distant galaxies to the physics of planets, asteroids, comets, and stars within our own solar system. As part of space science, it investigates the fundamental laws of physics that govern the behavior of these bodies and their interactions with radiation and other matter.
