Protein Synthesis
Protein synthesis is the process by which cells build proteins using the information encoded in DNA. It involves two main stages: transcription, where a copy of the DNA sequence is made in the form of messenger RNA (mRNA), and translation, where the mRNA is used as a template to assemble amino acids into a specific protein. This complex and highly regulated process is essential for the growth, maintenance, and repair of cells, as well as for carrying out the various functions of proteins in the body.
