Definition of Baseball as it relates to Sports, Major League Baseball, Sports Eastern League, Team Sports

Baseball is a team sport that involves two teams of nine players each taking turns to bat and field. The objective is for the batting team to hit the ball thrown by the pitcher from the opposing team and then run around a series of four bases before the fielding team can get them out. Points, known as runs, are scored when a player successfully completes a circuit of the bases. In baseball, there are various leagues such as Major League Baseball (MLB) and Sports Eastern League, where teams compete against each other to win championships. MLB is the highest level of professional baseball in the world, consisting of 30 teams from the United States and Canada. The Sports Eastern League is a minor league that serves as a developmental league for players aspiring to reach the MLB. As a part of Team Sports under Sports/Major League Baseball/Sports Eastern League, baseball promotes teamwork, communication, strategy, and physical fitness. It requires skill, agility, speed, and coordination, making it an exciting and challenging sport for players and spectators alike.
