Agnosticism
Agnosticism is the view that the existence of God, of the divine or the supernatural is unknown or unknowable. It asserts that nothing is known or can be known of the existence or nature of God. Agnostics may belong to any religion or subscribe to any philosophical system, or they may have no religious affiliation. They are characterized by an open-mindedness and willingness to consider new evidence and arguments, while recognizing the limitations of human knowledge and understanding. In this hierarchy, agnosticism is a type of religion that fits under the broader category of "Types Of Religions" alongside other belief systems such as deism, which holds that God does not interfere with the universe after its creation. Agnosticism differs from deism in that it does not make any claims about the existence or non-existence of a higher power, whereas deism posits the existence of a creator who does not intervene in the world. Agnosticism is also related to the broader category of "Religions" as one form of religious belief or lack thereof.
