Agnosticism

Definition of Agnosticism as it relates to Religions, Atheism, Naturalism

Agnosticism, when related to Naturalism, refers to the viewpoint that the existence of a higher power or deity cannot be known through empirical evidence or logical reasoning alone. It is a skeptical approach that acknowledges the limits of human understanding and knowledge. Those who hold this belief often maintain that natural phenomena can be explained solely by natural causes and laws, while remaining open to the possibility of the existence of something beyond the physical world. This perspective allows for a compatibility with certain aspects of both Religions and Atheism, as it neither affirms nor denies the existence of a deity, but rather emphasizes the limitations of human knowledge in this regard.
