Definition of Hebrew Bible as it relates to Languages, Hebrew, Judaism

The Hebrew Bible, also known as the Tanakh, is the sacred scripture of Judaism. It is a collection of texts written in Hebrew that have been preserved and passed down through generations. The Hebrew Bible consists of three main sections: the Torah (also known as the Pentateuch), the Nevi'im (Prophets), and the Ketuvim (Writings). These texts contain stories, laws, prophecies, poetry, and other forms of literature that are central to Jewish belief and practice. The Hebrew Bible is not only a foundational text for Judaism, but it has also had a profound influence on Christianity and Western culture as a whole.
