Biophysics
Biophysics is the interdisciplinary study of biological systems and processes using the principles and tools of physics. It seeks to understand how physical laws govern biological phenomena, from the molecular level to the cellular and organismal levels. Biophysicists may investigate a wide range of topics, such as the biomechanics of cells and tissues, the behavior of proteins and other macromolecules, and the physics of genetic material.
