Minimalism
Definition of Minimalism as it relates to Art, Modern Art, Neoclassicism
Cubism: A revolutionary art movement originating in the early 20th century, characterized by the fragmentation and rearrangement of form into geometric shapes. Pioneered by artists Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque, Cubism sought to challenge traditional perspectives and conventions of representation in Modern Art, moving away from the Neoclassical ideals of harmony and beauty. The movement is divided into two phases: Analytical Cubism, which focused on complex spatial relationships and monochromatic color schemes, and Synthetic Cubism, known for its incorporation of collage elements and vibrant colors.
