Definition of Contemporary Art as it relates to Art, Figurative Art, Urban Art

Surrealistic Symbols in Art refer to the use of visual imagery that deviates from the norms of reality, often with an aim to evoke unexpected emotions and thought-provoking responses from the viewer. These symbols are frequently employed in Surrealism Figurative Art, which combines representational forms with dreamlike or fantastical elements. They may include abstract shapes, exaggerated or distorted figures, and incongruous juxtapositions, all of which serve to challenge conventional perceptions and stimulate the imagination. The symbols often draw from the subconscious mind, dreams, and the irrational, embodying the Surrealist ethos of exploring the uncharted territories of the human psyche.
