Population Genetics
Population genetics is the study of genetic variation and its distribution within populations. It examines how genetic traits are passed down through generations, how they are affected by factors such as natural selection, genetic drift, and gene flow, and how they contribute to the overall genetic makeup of a population. Population genetics also explores how populations evolve over time in response to environmental pressures and other external influences.
