New Testament

The New Testament is the second major division of the Christian biblical canon, following the Old Testament. It contains 27 books, which are believed by Christians to be inspired by God and to reveal the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The New Testament includes the four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), which recount the life and ministry of Jesus, as well as the Acts of the Apostles, which describes the early history of the Christian church. Additionally, the New Testament contains various letters written by early Christian leaders, such as Paul, to churches and individuals, addressing theological issues and providing guidance for Christian living. The final book of the New Testament, Revelation, is apocalyptic in nature and offers visions of the end times.
