New Testament

Definition of New Testament as it relates to Books, Religious Books, Bibles, Acts of the Apostles

The New Testament is a collection of religious texts that are considered sacred in Christianity. It is a continuation of the narrative found in the Acts of the Apostles, which chronicles the early Christian church and the ministry of Jesus' apostles. The New Testament consists of 27 books, including the four Gospels, which tell the story of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection; the Epistles, which are letters written by various apostles to provide guidance and instruction to early Christian communities; and the Book of Revelation, which contains prophetic visions and warnings about the end times. Together, these texts serve as a foundational source of doctrine, practice, and belief for Christians around the world.
