New Testament
The New Testament is a collection of religious texts in Christianity, forming the second part of the Christian biblical canon alongside the Old Testament. It contains 27 books, written in Koine Greek, by various authors who were either apostles or associates of the apostles. The New Testament primarily consists of four genres: Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), Acts of the Apostles, Epistles, and Revelation. These texts present the teachings and life of Jesus Christ, the founding and growth of Christianity, and a prophetic vision of the end times. The New Testament is regarded as sacred scripture by Christians worldwide, providing spiritual guidance, doctrinal principles, and moral values for believers' lives.
